Miranda Taylor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2018. During her degree, she had three co-ops in diverse fields, including medical devices, measuring instruments, and the automotive industry. She partnered with NASA’s JPL for a capstone project, designing and building a thermal management system for CubeSats. Since joining the Canadian Space Agency in the Engineering Development program a year ago, she has worked on lunar rover deployment, thermal design for CubeSats, and systems modelling for Canada’s contributions to the Lunar Gateway.
